The young men at Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Center performed "A Heartless Background" for their final class with Rogue Pack. This is a photo of the backdrop for the show which they created. Here are some of their words: A heartless background is where I come from. From love and knowing that because of the respect I get in the streets and love that is shown. Long line of OG's telling me the game. Thinking about who is out to get me or who will stab me in the back or will that bullet connect? Experiences like flashing lights and breaking the identity of individuals who call themselves hard. I come from belief and honor of my street. I wish my life would become more important.

We are Rogue Pack.

Rogue Pack's team of creative facilitators encourages self-expression, instills confidence and builds joy in underserved youth through storytelling and theatre.

Roaming the Portland area, we build community partnerships that enable young people to ignite their creativity and take control of their stories, from the dramatic to the downright hilarious.  What seemed hopeless becomes hopeful. The impossible is transformed to possibility.

Inspired by OR-7, the infamous wandering wolf now happily at home with a den in Oregon, we support lone souls looking for their pack, community support and creative expression, and a little team howling. Among community partners granting foundations, supporting businesses and local media, there is a palpable sense of excitement about Rogue Pack's impact improving the lives of young people and our Portland area communities. Your help gives even greater room to roam.

We’d love your support.  Be a Rogue—join the Pack!

They bring a super high level of professionalism and energy with them every day, and our youth benefited greatly.
Each performer gets the chance to shine, to add her voice to what, by the end of the show, is a veritable chorus of empowerment, strength, and sass.
